Ron Newchurch joins OSF

Ron Newchurch, a Narunga Man from the Yorke peninsula in South Australia, joined the Outback Spirit Board in April. Ron, well know to many in the bush foods and horticulture sector in South Australia, is a farmer with over 20 years experience on the land and caring for his country in a tangible way.

As a successful grower of fresh vegetables (into Coles and SA markets) as well as native herbs and fruit (under his Matjara brand) Ron brings not only cultural relevance to the Board but real farming expertise and a good knowledge of bush foods in temperate and arid regions of Australia. Welcome Ron!
